It may do the work perfectly but it consumes more time for the production and making as all its work are done manually. Its fabrication may take a long time and also requires concentration while designing. Matching the skin tone and color requires a perfection.
Instead of doing the work manually it cane be done with the help with the help of new CAD software that may help in doing the designing work and also storing the finger prints of the prosthetic fingers and also other technologies. Coloring of the prosthetic fingers can be well achieved with the help of computer's CAD software .The dimensions of the finger of the other hand like if the left hand index finger is to be made then the dimension and the image of the right hand index finger can be used to make the prosthetic once. or other the this a 3D modeling tool can be used to do so. It might help in reducing the cost required.
